Thank you Hueysville Church of Christ such wonderful people.. My daughter talked to Chester Varney the other night, she called me at work and told me that he called and she had talked to him, all she had to say was that he always makes her smile. Thank You Chester! She needed that.

I grew up in the old church. I was there when Rondal Hayes was there. My family left Ky in 1971. I sure did have fun looking back at the old times. Hope to some day come visit the new church.

My husband is a retired Methodist minister, and so I was very interested when I ran across your website. Your website is an inspiration for other churches! Your witness shines strongly. I was particularly interested in the picture of your pianist...in Texas, Churches of Christ do not have musical instruments in their churches. Their music is beautiful, but I've always thought, "Oh!, what would they sound like if they had a piano?!" I know your music is a great blessing to God and those who attend your services. May His richest blessings be on your congregation!

I think the Huesville Church of Christ has been an inspiration to alot of local people. I know they have been good to my family/ Everyone there was concerned when my dad Tony Scott passed. you guys are they greatest. My mother Arlene still attends. thank you all for everything. i didnt know this website existed until i wan browsing cities. then there it was. thank you all

I have indeed had the honor, and pleasure, of befriending Jerry and Claudine Rice. When they visited our area, they chose to come to the church we attended, first the Pigeon Forge Christian Church, which closed, and now Smoky Mountain Christian Church, Phil Curry Pastor. Phil has only one fault, he is from Kentucky, and reminds us often!

I am 71 years old(a young 71, that is!), and my wife left our home on September 25 and moved back to Illinois. Jerry and Claudine were at our Sunday service, and were indeed a "sight for sore eyes", and were a healing for a wounded heart. Seeing, and being with, friends and fellow Christians at this time was indeed my fortune. As I truly believe, there are no cooincidences, but acts of God. Jerry and Claudine are indeed, Acts of God"!

Jerry and Claudine invited me up for a visit, and that is a possibility. Included would be a visit to your church.

When I finally came to the knowledge of truth, I had been associated with another denominational church, it was such a shock, that other churches were failing in so many ways to deliver the truth to people. My wife and I are now attached to a Church of Christ and never been so happy, I was so sorry that we wasted the many years we did, not been directed the right way. God bless you and you work.
